My First Time...Scary yet Exhilirating

So this year I have a number of resolutions (or challenges) lined up that I want to start the year off with – things like: live for myself, learn to love myself, and laugh every day…my theme this year is ‘be selfish’ and do things that make me happy. Sound self-involved? Perhaps it does, and perhaps it is, but 2010 was a hard year and so I am dedicating 2011 to learning about myself and what makes me tick. So here I am - one thing I have always wanted to do is start a blog and so I have decided to embark on this journey.
A little bit about me:
·  I’m a permanent student – I am an accountant by day, but I never seem to be out of school longer than 6 months before I sign myself up for more torture
·  I’m a hopeless romantic, I love love
·I am very short, and recently cut off all my hair – another one of my self-discovery challenges
· I am silly, loopy and one the dumbest ‘smart’ people you’ll ever know, which if you continue to read you will quickly agree with me
I admit from the start that this blog will have very little focus – at least at first – I think I will just talk about things I find interesting, from movies and music, to food and fashion. Perhaps at some point, I will tailor it to what my readers like to hear from me (that is if I have any). I like to say the word ‘amazing’ and I get very passionate about things, so I’m sure there will be lots of rants on topics of all sorts.
If you are still reading at this point – I will tell you that my first official entry is inspired by my amazing friend Lia with whom I have the most spirited conversations. Over our romantic Christmas dinner at Dimmi she challenged me to come up with a list of my Top Ten Movies from the past ten years, and so post number one will be all about movies that have somehow changed me in the past 10 years. Keep in mind; 10 years ago I was 15.
